At Obsidian Archive, every custom cover begins with a clear design brief so I can understand your book, style, genre, and vision before creating your cover.
1st Step - Booking & Questionnaire
To begin, please complete the Custom Cover Booking Form with as much detail as possible. This includes your book title, genre, tropes, design preferences, inspiration images, cover type, deadline, and any important notes.
Once your form is submitted, I will review your request and respond within 1–3 business days with availability, pricing, timeline, and any follow-up questions.
2nd Step - Concept Development
After your booking is confirmed, I will begin developing your cover concept based on the details provided in your form. You may receive 1–2 mockup concepts to review before the final design stage begins.
Additional concept options or extra revision rounds may be available for an added fee.
3rd Step - Design & Revisions
Once a concept is approved, I will create your cover design and send a proof for review. Each custom cover includes up to three rounds of minor revisions to refine the design.
Major changes, new concepts, or extra revisions may require additional time and fees.
4th Step - Final Delivery
After final approval, your upload-ready files will be prepared and delivered. This may include your eBook cover, print-ready paperback or hardcover files, and any included extras.
If your print details are not ready yet, your eBook cover can be delivered first, and the print wrap can be completed later once you have the correct specifications.
Important Content Note
Obsidian Archive does not create covers featuring hateful, abusive, underage, extreme graphic, or non-consensual imagery. If you are unsure whether your project is suitable, please get in touch with me before placing an order.
Please Note
Once the final files are approved and delivered, the project is considered complete. Any additional changes requested after delivery may be treated as a new service.
