Obsidian Archive does not knowingly use AI-generated images to create book covers. My covers are designed using licensed stock images, typography, textures, illustrations, and traditional design techniques.
Image Licensing
All images and design assets are sourced from trusted places such as licensed stock websites, canva, photographers, or approved design platforms.
If an image is clearly marked as AI-generated, it will not be used in an Obsidian Archive cover design.
Stock Image Disclosure
Some stock websites now include AI-generated images in their libraries. I do my best to check image details before using any assets.
However, if a stock agency does not clearly disclose that an image is AI-generated, Obsidian Archive cannot be held responsible for undisclosed AI content from third-party suppliers.
Client-Supplied Images
Clients must not send AI-generated images for use in their book cover unless this is clearly discussed before the project begins.
If you provide your own images, you are responsible for making sure you have the legal right to use them.
Design Tools
Some design programs may include built-in AI-assisted features. Obsidian Archive does not use these tools to generate full AI artwork or create AI-made cover images.
Any editing, adjustments, or enhancements are used only as part of the normal design process.

Obsidian Archive is committed to creating thoughtful, high-quality book covers with properly licensed materials and a clear no-AI approach wherever possible.
